Sandstone’s natural strength and durability make it an ideal material for use in architecture. It can yield both clearly defined bedding along its sedimentary planes making it a great choice for traditional paving and walling products.

Figure is the distinctive visual appearance on the surface of the timber which are the result of natural growth processes in the tree. These patterns include variations like knots, swirls, waves, and flecks, each offering a unique texture and aesthetic to the wood.

In April 2025 we celebrate 5 years since the launch of the ARCHITEXTURES web app. The initial idea for the platform came from my experience working as an architect and requiring customised material assets for projects we worked on.
